A big welcome to Ricardo Rojas, who joins the USQM team as a postdoc, and to Ahsan Ali, who joins us for his PhD. Ricardo recently finished his PhD at the University of Luxembourg in ultrafast spectroscopy applied to condensed phase systems, and joins the USQM team to study light-induced phase transitions. Ahsan did his masters at Pakistan’s National Institute of Lasers and Optronics studying time-domain terahertz spectroscopy, and will study optical switching to metastable states in the USQM group.
